I'm a 29 year old stay at home mama of 3 kids and now a six figure earner. (Oh my god I still can't believe it when I say it!). I put up with it until the depression it caused, had me hit rock bottom, and putting up with it was literally no longer an option. SOMETHING HAD TO CHANGE.

Being diagnosed with severe depression while also quitting my only source of income, it was time to sink or swim. I had to figure out how I was going to continue getting by. I had no other choice. I had THREE lives that depended on me.

I was trying to stay optimistic and remain positive. I mean maybe I could turn this shit show into something positive? Maybe I could figure out a way to make even MORE money, and maybe, just maybe I could even make it from HOME.

I was served video after video on TikTok about how I could make money from home or better yet, anywhere in the world.

One day while sipping my morning coffee, I saw a video of a mom, saying she makes $10,000 a month digital marketing, and I nearly did a spit take. Because excuse me WHAT?!?! Creating and selling digital products literally sounded like my cup of tea and making $10,000 a month would be life-changing.

Motivated by the caffeine and the fact that I had my last check direct deposited into my account that morning, I decided to take the leap and give it a go.

It was a complete SHIT show.

You probably thought I was going to say something along the lines of "and I made six figures in two months." WRONG. It was a complete mess.

I jumped into it headfirst, straight into the deep end and was in WAY WAY WAYYY over my head. I had no clue what I was doing and no idea where to turn. I wasted so much time. Here are the mistakes I made so you don't make them too.

I got lost in the technical nightmare of trying to make my website and products look PERFECT.

I have ZERO technical skills, so when it was time to make my website look decent, I had no idea what I was doing and wasted hours, days, WEEKS of my time just trying to get it to look somewhat decent. Once again something I didn't realize is you need to make it easy for people to find your website and that was one of the things the courses I took didn't teach.

But, just like every good Hallmark Movie, there was a happy ending (It just took me way too long to get there.)

How I finally went from food stamps to a six-figure online business = DIGITAL MARKETING.
